Change is feared by many people. Many people find the idea of change frightening.
Change can mean something is ending, something is starting, or something is heading into the unknown.
There are scary things associated with change, but there are also new opportunities. Change has many positive aspects, and it is a part of life.

If you are afraid of change, here are seven warning signs.
The first. It is rare for you to deviate from your daily routine
You are afraid of change if you rarely change your daily routine and think it is too stressful. Habits can be formed from everyday behaviors. Breaking free of your routine can help you discover new ideas and positive habits.
Habits provide structure and organization to our lives. Routines can improve your mental, physical, and emotional health. Nevertheless, if you don’t change it up occasionally, you’ll become rigid and closed-minded.
The second. It’s easier to take the easiest route
In order to take the path of least resistance, you should choose the easiest path rather than the best one. In the long run, taking the path of least resistance may seem easier, but it isn’t.
You are not open to change if you are trying to preserve the status quo
Taking the path of least resistance means taking the easy route. It is not always best to do the easy thing. You can benefit from the change.
The third point. Despite realizing that you’re unhappy, you don’t take action
In spite of realizing that you are unhappy at work or at home, you fail to act. Rather than focusing on the major negatives, you try to see the small positives.
You must take action to change your situation if you are unhappy
Stress, anger, insecurity, frustration, and poor health contribute to unhappiness. Most likely, you are unhappy if you procrastinate, spend weekends worrying about your job, feel that working days are too long, or don’t have any friends at work.
The fourth. Despite wanting to go, you renege on your plans
Flakiness involves canceling plans just before they begin. If you really want to go deep down, do you constantly abandon your plans? Then you are afraid of change.
You will hurt your relationships and your physical and mental health if you continue to give up on plans. You or anyone else won’t benefit from flaking. Don’t back out of plans, make them happen instead.
The fifth point. You Stay Put in a Job You Don’t Like
Are you sticking with your job even though you are not satisfied? Are you aware that you will be better off in a new position? Have you considered jumping ship, but aren’t sure what to do next? You are afraid of change if you stay in a job you don’t like.
“I don’t like my job, but I’m used to it,” “I don’t like my job, but it pays the bills,” or “I can’t find a better job.” These are excuses for working somewhere without creating an exit strategy. Your job shouldn’t hold you back from being the person you are meant to be.
The sixth. Feeling really anxious about the future
When thinking about the future, it can be easy to feel stressed. You are afraid of change if you feel anxious about the future. The future should inspire you, not worry you.
While worrying about the future is normal, it shouldn’t be all-consuming and constant. Rather than depressing you, the future should motivate you.
The seventh. When you think about change, your body hurts
Since your brain controls your body’s functions, you must consider how powerful it is and how it can affect it.
When you think about change, does your body hurt? Psychogenic pain is caused by psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues.
Your body hurts when you think about change, which indicates that you are emotionally stressed and afraid of change.
